      About

      Cautions

      Pure materials

Pau D’Arco is Wild-Harvested exclusively from the nutrient-rich inner bark of the Lapacho Tree, otherwise known as the pink trumpet tree (reddish-purple in color). It is much more potent and effective than the cheaper grayish outer bark, that is used in other brands

Dandelion - Wild-Harvested exclusively from the Taraxacum Officinale Root.

Red Clover - Wild-Harvested exclusively from the Trifolium Pretense Herbal plant.

At the peak of readiness, the bark and herbs are carefully shade-dried to retain their full color and aroma and then properly extracted. We use 8lbs of Lapacho Tree Bark, dandelion, and red clove per gallon of base (1:1 Menstruum Ratio), which is double the 2-4lb herb strength that most other extracts offer.

      Proven process

Maxx Herb’s two-week, carefully executed extraction process provides maximum strength, allowing the body to absorb the extract quickly and effectively. All of our extracts are natural, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free.

      Made in the USA

Manufactured and bottled in California USA in a facility certified by the Health Department.

      cautions

      Extract vs Teas & Capsules

Liquid extract form simply offers volatile oils and esters that tea or capsules do not. Extracts are easily mixed with water, juice, or smoothies making them a simple addition to your daily routine. Extracts can also be taken by simply putting a few drops under your tongue.

      FAQ

Can’t I Go To A Health Food Store And Buy Some Pau D’ Arco Plus Bark And Make It Myself?

Yes, you can. However, it’s not practical. First of all, you have no way of guaranteeing the quality or purity of the bark, second, it would take you 3 weeks to extract the key components (volatile oils and esters) and you still wouldn’t have the strength for maximum effectiveness. Consequently, it’s not as effective, efficient, convenient, or as affordable.

How Does Maxx Herb Pau D’ Arco Plus Compare To Pau D’ Arco Tea?

Just making Pau D’ Arco tea does not release the volatile oils and esters, which are the key compounds that make Pau D’ Arco Plus a very effective Herbal Dietary Supplement. We use a proprietary extraction process that releases the volatile oils and esters ensuring the highest quality extract available for maximum effectiveness.

Is Your Pau D’ Arco Plus Produced In An FDA Certified Facility?

The FDA does not certify manufacturing facilities. Our facility is certified by the health department and is produced in accordance with all current GNP regulations.

How Long Is The Shelf Life?

Pau D’ Arco Plus has a manufacture date on the bottom of the bottle and is good for 3 years from that date

How Long Does One Bottle Last?

Taken twice a day, the 4 Oz bottle is a 1 month supply
For maintenance, a 4 Pack is a 4 month supply

Why Choose Maxx Herb Pau D’ Arco Plus Liquid Formulas Over Capsules Or Tablets?

When it comes to Pau D’ Arco Plus, capsules and tablets are not effective. The effectiveness of Pau D’ Arco Plus comes 1st, from the inner bark and not the outer bark (used mostly in tablets and capsules) 2nd, from the proper preparation of the bark. Pau D’ Arco bark must be boiled and extracted to release the volatile oils and esters, the key components that make Maxx Herb Pau D’ Arco and Pau D’ Arco Plus as effective as herbal dietary supplements! Your body’s digestive system is not capable of extracting these volatile oils and esters from capsules or tablets. Consequentially, Pau D’ Arco capsules and tablets are useless and a waste of your money! Our Pau D’ Arco and Pau D’ Arco Plus are in a concentrated liquid form rendering them far superior for maximum effectiveness than any Pau D’ Arco liquids, capsules or tablets on the market.

Can I Remove The Alcohol If I Put The Extract In Boiling Water?

Yes! Put 2mL (60 drops Approx.) in 2 ounces of boiling water for 3-5 minutes and the alcohol content will be virtually nil.

How Much Alcohol Am I Taking In A Dose Of Either, Pau D’ Arco Plus?

When consuming 2mL (60 drops approx.) Pau D’ Arco with 2 ounces of warm water, the amount of alcohol is very low indeed. Comparably, 2mL (60 drops approx.) of an extract containing 18- 20% alcohol in 2 ounces of warm water will be equivalent to consuming about 1/300 of a glass of wine… barely a sip!

Are Pau D’ Arco Plus Gluten-Free?

      Yes

Are Pau D’ Arco Plus Vegan?

      Yes

Has There Been Any Research Done On Pau D’ Arco Plus?

Pau D’ Arco caught the attention of some American researchers and the scientific community about 30 years ago. Because of the drug companies’ lack of interest in preventative health care, the research was very minimal. However the story is much different in South America. The inner bark of the Lapacho tree has been used medicinally by native South American people for centuries. [As a side note in South America Pau D Arco is always consumed in a liquid form and never in capsules or tablets.] Pau D’ Arco has been shown to help increase the production of red blood cells which carry the body’s oxygen supply and removes carbon dioxide from the blood stream. Scientists isolated an active chemical found in the bark, and termed it lapachol. Some researchers have theorized that other ingredients in the bark besides lapachol may have therapeutic benefits. Researchers have isolated over 20 active compounds in Pau D’ Arco. Research has shown Pau D’ Arco to have anti-bacterial, anti-viral and antifungal properties, helping destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi and some parasites by increasing the supply of oxygen to the cells. Pau D Arco has also been shown to influence the activity of the immune system. In small dosages, it can support immune system activity and in large doses may suppress some unhealthy immune responses.
